Mairead is hosting a nurturing yoga retreat weekend in Mulvarra House on the River Barrow in Co. Carlow

What : On Friday, we will begin the wind down for the weekend with a relaxing yoga class with a long Yoga Nidra to set you up for a great night’s sleep. Saturday and Sunday brings a combination of classes on yoga and mindfulness, walking, free time relaxing, and attend a demo of how to cook simple but healthy and very tasty food (all optional activities).

Cost: TBC. All rooms are en-suite: Triple room, Twin room, Limited single rooms available on request.

Sample Schedule

Friday

  • 16.00: Arrival and start to unwind with tea and welcome nibbles
  • 17.00: Restorative Yoga class to stretch out and ease into the weekend
  • 18.30: Dinner
  • 20.30: Yoga Nidra to help sleep

Saturday

  • 09.00: Morning tea, juice and/or fruit
  • 09.30: Mindful walk (weather permitting)
  • 10.00: Morning Hatha Yoga class
  • 11.45: Brunch
  • 13.00: Free time to relax, walk, read, journal and/or join a cooking demo
  • 17.00: Evening Hatha Yoga class
  • 18.30: Dinner
  • 20.00: Free time to relax, chat, read, etc

Sunday

  • 09.00: Morning tea, juice and/or fruit
  • 09.30: Mindful walk (weather permitting)
  • 10.00: Morning Hatha Yoga class
  • 11.45: Brunch
  • 13.00: Farewell circle. Depart at leisure
