Yoga is becoming increasingly popular for sports people and fitness enthusiasts as a means to increase flexibility, optimise performance and help prevent injury. Professional and amateur players across golf, GAA, rugby, and soccer are big fans of the benefits of yoga for their sport.
Classes are tailored specifically for people involved in sports, working towards improved flexibility and mobility which helps prevent injuries. Mairead has a YTI Certificate in Yoga for Sports and in the past has taught the Dublin City University GAA teams.
